Besides composing The Phantom of the Opera, Andrew Lloyd Webber is the creator of the world-famous musicals Cats, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Sunset Boulevard. In December 2015, his stage version of the film School of Rock premiered at the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway. In addition to his own work, Andrew Lloyd Webber has produced numerous other shows and plays, including the Olivier Award-winning comedy Daisy Pulls It Off. As a composer, he received countless awards, including seven Tony Awards, seven Laurence Olivier Awards, a Golden Globe Award, an Oscar, two international Emmys, the Premium Imperial, the Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre, the Kennedy Center Honors Award, as well as honorary membership of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers. He also received a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Classical Composition for REQUIEM.
